Pieter Paumen is one of the founding partners of Benedict Peax. He has an MSc in Industrial Engineering from the Eindhoven University of Technology. He worked for 20 years in large corporates such as Philips Electronics and NXP Semiconductors in operational, supply chain and general management. He initiated a joint venture, spun out of NXP and Thomson and became its CEO. The company, headquartered in Singapore, specialised in electronics components and employed more than 3000 staff worldwide. Next, he worked as an interim manager in European start-ups in solar energy and telematics.
Pieter uses his experience to help start-up, scale-up and SME entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions to innovate and grow. Sometimes with advice, often with funding, always with dedication.
Outside working hours, Pieter is kept busy by his wife, three adult sons, a very quaint century-old farmhouse and its sprawling garden. And he still aims to run at least as fast as yesteryear.
