Parable develops virtual-reality programmes for training purposes. Industrial companies struggle to find well trained and experienced staff to replace those who reach retirement age, and there are too few young applicants willing to do the job. Additionally, the industry is changing at an increasing pace, requiring a constant upgrading of staff competences.
Existing training programmes often take a theoretical approach and are not easily applicable on the job. Parable and Deftiq joined forces to develop a learning module that combines the theoretical character of e-learning with the simulated practical training of virtual reality. Benedict Peax raised € 200 000 to fund this project.
